PPGen at Carthage College: Kenosha, WI

Our local group is fighting for the freedom to control our own bodies and our futures by building campaigns on campus. We are striving for reproductive freedom, and are getting students involved by tabling at events, setting up voter registration tables, and collaborating with organizations on campus.

Akron, OH Volunteer Legislative Action Council

Our local group is fighting for the freedom to control our own bodies and our futures by building local and national campaigns. We understand the need of reaching out to elected officials is detrimental to this movement, for they are the ones representing our districts. It is important to keep them accountable as to how they vote. This group is designed to do just that by writing letters, postcards and anything else to ensure that legislators are informed that we are paying attention and they are obligated to vote to protect reproductive freedoms in Ohio.

NYC College and University Action Council

Our local group will be a place to help mobilize College and University students in New York to fight for reproductive rights. Many of us attend colleges and universities that teach their students about community organizing for social movements as well as provide education on the history of important social movements. Often times, these same schools don't uphold those same principles of equity and inclusion and leave students, especially Black and Indigenous students and Queer students and female students out of the important conversations that need to be had. This group can be a place to share resources, attend protests and marches together, organize protests and marches, hold space for discussions and education on reproductive health and how it effects queer and black communities, etc. You by no means have to attend a college or university to be a part of this group, it is a more a reference for the age range of members that we are looking for (around 18-25yrs old).
